Again, I haven’t posted a damn thing to this site.

Instead of whining or making excuses about that crap, here are some points of uninterest about my life recently…

• The kids were sick last week, and got me sick.  Stomach Flu.  I don’t enjoy vomiting, but hey, what can you do.
• I hit level 50 in SW:TOR.  Waiting for the new patch to come out in April before I start a second character.
• I’ve picked up my camera again, after a long absence from photography.  Pictures soon, maybe.
• I am sick of Girl Scout Cookies.  I’ve spent 4 weekends selling cookies on street corners.  It’s for a good cause; we’re taking the girls to DC in June, but… I’m sick of it all.
• I’m very far behind on my TV watching, movie viewing and book reading.  But what’s new there, right?
• I’ve almost completed my multi-year project of building a database for my Star Wars Book/Comic/Magazine collection.  Next step is to publish it online.
• Sadly, I’m too broke to go to ROFLcon III this year.  Very upset about this.

This was making the rounds last week, but I didn’t give it a look until today. – I can’t believe that the trailer for a video game made me a bit misty. I’m such a softy. (None the less, I can’t wait to play this one!)

I wonder how many parents in the audience don’t quite understand how awesome this is?

Last week, we went to a “minor league” basketball game, the Fort Wayne Mad Ants vs the Maine Red Claws. (These teams are part of the NBA Development League.)

Once the game started and the players took the court, I had to do a double take.  One of the Mad Ants players, Dan Dickau, from a distance, when all sweaty and running around, looked a lot like CollegeHumors own Josh Ruben.  Really!  Here, take a look…

Okay, so maybe they’re not identical twins, more like fraternal twins, but still, from the bleachers, I could swear it was Josh playing ball.

(I bet the game woulda been more entertaining if it had been Josh though.  That guy is one funny dude!)

Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 – Wow! So great on so many levels. I was moved, emotionally, when the Russians invade Virginia. Amazing!

This is the world I live in.  Made me laff!

Feeling old… Couldn’t kill the final boss in WOLFENSTEIN. Finally just gave up. Frustrating. (I’ve been playing too many games this month)

Too much media to consume, not enough time. I’m falling way behind in my reading, watching, playing and listening pursuits. Ugh.

Beatles Rock Band just arrived. I’ll be gone for three days. See you all later!

I wanna like this commercial, but… It kinda freaks me out. I think it’s John Lennons freaky smile that is too close to the camera.

On a related note, I achieved Rolling Stone Magazines “Rock Immortal Inductee” status in Rock Band 2 today!  (this is the games version of the Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame, a name that can’t use for copy right reasons.)  Sadly, this was only on medium level.  I just can’t seem to add the 5th button and move up to hard yet.  Still, this hasn’t stopped me from thinking I need to start a band in real life.  It can’t be that hard, you just need three cords and an aditude to play Rock-n-Roll, right?  I think I’m going to place an add on Craigslist some day soon.
